Life happens, and so do accidents, especially during those late-night binge-watching marathons or when you're in a rush. Do not worry; Miller Family Eyecare's comprehensive warranty policy has you covered. Within the first 12 months of your eyewear purchase, any breaks or damage are on us.
Changed your mind about your frame selection? It's all good. You have a 30-day window to select a new frame with a minimal restyle fee. We understand your style evolves and are here to support that journey.
Concerned about your contact lens prescription changing after purchasing a year's supply? Breathe easy. We offer an exchange on any unopened boxes of contacts, ensuring you're never stuck with lenses you can't use.
Our Warranty Covers:

Remake Policy
Our frames come with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering any defects arising from normal usage. Should your frame be unavailable for replacement or repair due to the manufacturer's discontinuation, we'll replace it with a product of equal value, ensuring you're never without the vision support you need.
Your eyeglasses are tailor-made to your exact prescription and measurements, embodying our commitment to personalized eye care. In instances where your eye doctor changes your prescription or lens damage occurs under warranty, we offer a no-cost remake. Prescription changes must be reported within 60 days of receiving your new glasses, while scratched lenses or other defects covered by anti-reflective treatment warranties can be replaced once within the warranty period.
Should you decide to restyle your frame within 30 days of collection, we're on hand to assist for a nominal $25 service fee. This fee also applies if you encounter difficulties adapting to new lens materials or coatings.

We're here to ensure you're delighted with your glasses and stand behind every product we offer. However, due to the custom nature of our products, which are crafted specifically for you, refunds are not available.
Please be aware that warranties provided by your vision insurance plan may override our store policy, and custom orders are excluded from this policy.

Understanding Our Fitting and Evaluation Fee
We're committed to ensuring the perfect fit for your contact lenses, which starts with a comprehensive fitting and evaluation. This process, crucial for your comfort and the health of your eyes, includes precise measurements, thorough evaluation, and specialized vision testing tailored to the prescription your eye doctor has determined is best for you.
*Please note: The fitting fee is separate from our regular exam fee and is not typically covered by insurance plans. However, it does encompass 60 days of follow-up office visits related to your contact lenses, as well as any trial lenses needed during this period. This fee is payable at the time of service, ensuring uninterrupted, focused care for your vision needs.
Prescription Validity and Exchanges
Under FDA regulations and Iowa state law, contact lens prescriptions are valid for up to 18 months from the initial prescription date. The exact expiration date is determined based on your specific visual health needs as assessed by your doctor.
Should you need to exchange unopened, unmarked boxes of contacts, we're here to accommodate you with an exchange or store credit. Please be aware, however, that all colored contact lenses are final sales and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Fitting Fee Structure
- Existing Contact Lens Wearers: $60
- New Fit Contact Lens Wearers: $95 to $125
Eyewear Adjustments and Repair Services
We provide complimentary adjustments to perfect the fit and comfort of your glasses. Our team is always on hand to assist with maintaining the quality and performance of your eyewear.
For repairs, we offer our services free of charge for most issues. However, should your eyewear require replacement parts or soldering to restore it to its original state, additional charges may apply. Our goal is to keep your glasses functioning flawlessly, ensuring you continue to enjoy clear vision and comfort.
