I recently joined Miller Family Eyecare June, 2021. I am from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I love helping people and making them smile. I enjoy traveling, trying new things, and spending time with my family. My favorite tv show will have to be a tie between Hawaii 5-O and White collar, also my favorite ice cream is Mint Chocolate. I really like that I get the opportunity to grow and learn so much at MFEC, and that we treat each other like family!

I started in the mail room of a local lab back in 1990. I then became a optician in 1995, and am now celebrating my 27th year of loving the job that I am doing.

I recently joined Miller Family Eyecare in June, 2018 with 26 years of optical sales and management experience. I am from North Central Iowa. I love getting to know patients and helping them select the perfect eye wear. I enjoy time with my husband, family and friends! Cooking healthy food is my passion. My dream vacation would be a trip to Ireland. Being kind, caring and compassionate is very important to me. I love and live life to the fullest!

I grew up in Waterloo, Iowa. I would love to take a trip to Japan to experience the different food and culture, but most importantly the food! My favorite ice cream is either chocolate salted caramel from this tiny place in Madison, WI or Halo Top peanut butter cup (then I can eat more!)
I love the opportunity to provide custom, individual service to each patient. Buying glasses doesn’t have to be like going to the dentist. It should be exciting, enjoyable, and a little weird. I hope the world sees me as relaxed, laid back and not too serious. It’s just life, it should be fun!

I grew up in Urbandale, IA and have called Cedar Rapids my home since 2005. I love to travel wherever the wind takes me or at least until the funds hold out! I have been honing my craft since 1997, when I started out as an optical tech. Over the years, I've experienced every facet of the optical industry, from behind the scenes in the lab, to helping patients find their inner voice with their eyewear! I am true believer in letting your eyewear express who you are and who you want to be. I may be quiet sometimes, but don’t let that fool you. My sass is hidden right beneath the surface, just ask my 2 beautiful daughters!

I grew up in Belle Plaine, Iowa. I believe I already had my dream vacation! I traveled to Greece, with my entire immediate family in the summer of 2013, to meet my father’s side. I have 2 uncles, an aunt and several cousins there. One day, I'd love to experience Hawaii or New York City. I love being a part of a locally, female owned business. We are a tight-knit and family like team!

I joined Miller Family Eye Care April 10th, 2023. I am from Cedar Rapids, IA and lived in surrounding areas. I have always lived in IOWA!!
I wear many hats.. I started my medical career in volunteering as a teen volunteer @ St. Luke's Hospital. After graduation from high school, I got my license in Cosmetology, 2 yr. degree in Medical Assisting, then to one of my favorite careers was Massage Therapy.
I love helping people. Love unique things. I would love to travel to Alaska & Scotland someday.

I joined MFEC in March of 2023. I moved to Iowa 9 years ago from a small town in Illinois. I have a son. I have a dog named Hemi and a cat named Howie. My favorite kind of ice cream is chocolate. I am an outgoing person. I love shopping and spending time with my family. I would like to say my favorite thing about working at MFEC is the patients and the staff.

I grew up in Shellsburg, Iowa. I have traveled to deserts, mountains, beaches and Germany. My husband and I travel somewhere new every year. I love Baskin & Robins peanut butter and chocolate ice cream. What I love most about MFEC are my co-workers, I consider them friends. Being a small local business, we have the opportunity to get to know our patients and provide a more personal experience. Even though my two kids are out of the house, I still see myself as a mom first.
