Dr. Ellen Miller, a proud Marion High School alumna, embarked on her journey to eye care after earning a business degree from the University of Iowa. A newfound need for glasses at 23 steered her toward a passionate career in optometry, graduating as Valedictorian from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1995. Dr. Miller, who dreams of quiet escapes to Maine or Colorado for hiking, skiing, or simply enjoying a good book during a snowstorm, brings a blend of professionalism and personal care to our practice. Her favorite treats include Heyn’s Cappuccino ice cream and anything with peanut butter and chocolate. At the heart of her practice lies a commitment to offering medical-based eye care paired with quality, stylish, and unique eyewear. Dr. Miller is valued for her honesty, fairness, kindness, and professional empathy, striving to see the world through her patients' eyes as much as they see through hers.
